WuPilates
WuPilates simplifies the traditional series of Pilates exercises to ensure they are safe and effective. Repetition of the traditional foundation exercises cultivates skill and efficient movement patterns which then promotes natural progression to more advanced moves and exercises. This foundation work applies to all levels whether you are a skilled athlete or trying Pilates for the first time.
Foundation Pilates is especially relevant if you are recovering from an injury or a surgical procedure. Less is definitely more!
Additional tools and small props are used to help cultivate postural awareness, alignment, balance, control, stability and flexibility. This class series begins with foundation essentials, and builds slowly, carefully and appropriately according to each person’s abilities.
WuPilates Matwork classes bring together Pilates principles, Feldenkrais Method, and biomechanics (what that means is… correct structural alignment principals and movement patterns needed to promote efficient movement and maintain a healthy pain free body!)
